This is the video we created (in a VERY short amount of time) for our presentation to the school board. We were told it had to be brief. We also created student testimonials, posters, and got quotes from previous administrators in support of our proposal, which we posted around the library where the meeting was held.
I am in my 10th year of teaching Art (9th of TAG) at Graettinger
(now Graettinger-Terril). It has always
felt like "home" more than any other school where
I've taught/worked.
Last fall I finished my Internship and worked toward obtaining my TAG Endorsement so that I may better serve our students.
I'm also half way to my Masters in Education! woohoo! But not sure yet whether I want to spend my entire summer holed up in my bedroom like I did last summer.
I've been married for 27 years and have 2 children-Graye, 18 (a recent Grad of ELC HS)now living on Kauai in Hawaii, where is taking online courses and nannying for my cousin Brad's 2 boys who are 3 and nearly 6. Payton, 13, (he has Cerebral Palsy, but loves music, videos, books and showing sheep from his wheelchair).
Photography is my hobby. I also love to "read" audiobooks
(it's hard to hold a book and edit photos
or mow the lawn at the same time--
Thank God for my iPod!) and spend time with
friends and family.
I look forward to using my new found knowledge to help students achieve success and find their path in Post Secondary Education/"Real Life".
